The winners of the Best Minneapolis Web Design are EightHourDay Design, Interactive & Illustration, Azul 7, Catalyst Studios, Larsen and Modern Climate. Honorable Mentions have been awarded to Popular Front, Preston Kelly and RAD designs.

Web standards and design fundamentals are an essential part of the design process. "As professionals we have a responsibility to make working, usable websites for all users," says judge Douglas Brull of Grandpa-George Design and Interactive. "Through friendly competition in the Minneapolis / St. Paul area we can increase the quality of all web design agencies involved."

Through a rotating panel of judges, the five best examples of sites meeting these web standards and design fundamentals are selected every six months and shared on Best Minneapolis Web Design. These are the Best of Minneapolis Web Design. Judging was completed on August 14, 2009.

The website also provides a comprehensive resource of interactive agencies of more than one employee that have a presence in the Twin Cities area.
